There are those who are blinded by hate and rage for this man, not because they know him, but because they actually don't.
They hate only because they were conned, deceived, and misled by insidious forces who were yanked out of power because people were fed up with their incompetence, greed, and corrupt ways.
They hate this Man because he is an outlier in their elitist, hypocritical world.
They hate him because he unmasked the duplicity and grand alliance of the oligarchy, church, communists, and yellow disente leeches who were out there abusing and milking us for what we are worth, and dumbing us down so we cannot rise up and free ourselves from their stranglehold.
And as easy as they pick on him, and portraying him to the whole world as a brash, uncouth, simpleton probinsyano who does not have what it really takes to govern, they are discombobulated by the fact that the man has an overwhelming support from his own people.
Why?
Because this Man is not just anybody. He is in fact, a once-in-a-generation kind of leader, unparalleled in having a sincere kind of empathy and understanding of our personal sentiment and aspiration.
They will never understand why we revere this Man in the same way that they are so clueless of our rage against their brand of democracy and leadership that laid to waste our land in the last 3 decades.
They will never, ever get it.
No, they will never appreciate the magnificence, wisdom, and sincerity of this Man because they only have eyes on one prize - POWER.
But unfortunately for them, this Man has shattered their delusion, and destroyed their pretenses, by not being the fake statesman or prim and proper but phony president that they were used to having and manipulating.
Because this Man is not among them but is wholeheartedly amongst us, the Filipino people.
He did not promise us the moon.
But he is providing the opportunity, and the best chance for all of us, and our children, to simply have a better and brighter tomorrow.
